General Process

How do I start?

Two ways. Send photos and details for an online estimate, or book a private appointment at 8308 Wilshire Blvd and bring the piece in. Both take a few minutes to set up.

Do I need an appointment?

No, walk ins are welcome during opening hours. An appointment gets you a private room and dedicated time, which is worth it for high value pieces and collections.

Where do in person evaluations take place?

At our store, 8308 Wilshire Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211, open daily from 10 am to 7 pm.

What items do you buy?

Fine, estate and designer jewelry, diamonds loose or set, Rolex and other luxury watches, gold jewelry and scrap gold, coins, bars, bullion, silver and platinum.

Can I get an estimate before coming in?

Yes. Send a few clear photos and whatever details you know and we come back with a realistic range before you travel.

Do you serve clients outside Beverly Hills?

Yes. Sellers come to us from Los Angeles, West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Glendale. All evaluations happen at our Wilshire Blvd store.

Offers

Offer and Pricing

How is my offer calculated?

It depends on the category: item type, condition, specifications, completeness, metal purity and weight where relevant, and what the market is paying today. We explain the reasoning before you decide.

Do you promise the highest price?

No, and we would be careful with anyone who does. Valuables are item specific, so we show you how the number was built and let you compare it.

Is the online estimate the final offer?

No. It is a realistic range based on photos and details. The final offer comes after testing and verification in person.

Why can two similar items get different offers?

Small differences matter: condition, certification, completeness, brand and demand for that exact model or stone can move the number significantly.

Do market prices change daily?

Yes. Gold and bullion move with the market, and demand for watches and diamonds shifts over time, so offers reflect the day you sell.

Jewelry

Selling Jewelry

Do you buy estate jewelry?

Yes, single pieces or a whole estate. Mixed lots are sorted and valued piece by piece.

Do you buy designer jewelry?

Yes. Signed pieces from known houses usually carry a premium well above their material value, and we price them that way.

Do you buy broken jewelry?

Yes. Broken chains, single earrings and damaged settings all have value. Bring them along.

Should I separate jewelry before the appraisal?

No need. We sort it here. If you already know something is signed or certified, point it out so it goes in the right pile.

Can jewelry with stones be sold as scrap gold?

It can, but often it should not. If the stones or the brand carry value, selling the piece as scrap leaves money on the table. We check before anything gets weighed.

Diamonds

Selling Diamonds

Do you buy loose diamonds?

Yes, certified or not. Loose stones are usually the quickest to evaluate because everything can be measured directly.

Do you buy diamond rings?

Yes, from single solitaires to full diamond jewelry. The stone and the mounting are valued separately.

Can I sell a diamond without a certificate?

Yes. We grade the stone in front of you and explain what we see. A GIA report helps, but it is not required.

Does a certificate guarantee a certain price?

No. It confirms the grading, which makes the evaluation faster and more precise, but the offer still depends on demand for that stone.

What affects diamond value the most?

Cut, color, clarity and carat set the range. Shape, fluorescence, certification and current demand decide where inside that range your stone lands.

Is a loose diamond easier to evaluate than a ring?

Usually yes, because it can be measured and weighed on its own. A mounted stone can still be graded accurately, it just takes a bit longer.

Watches

Rolex and Luxury Watches

Do you buy Rolex watches?

Yes, across models and conditions, from daily wearers to unworn pieces.

Do you buy other luxury brands?

Yes: Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Richard Mille, Omega, Cartier and other recognised makers.

Can I sell a Rolex without box and papers?

Yes. Plenty of watches are bought without them. They add to the offer when present, but they are not a requirement.

Do box and papers affect the value?

Yes, usually noticeably, especially on sought after references where buyers expect a full set.

Does service history matter?

It helps. Recent service records and original parts support a stronger offer, since the next owner knows what they are getting.

What should I bring for a watch appraisal?

The watch, plus box, papers, warranty card, extra links or straps and any service records you still have.

Gold and bullion

Cash for Gold, Coins and Bullion

Do you buy gold jewelry?

Yes, in any karat and any condition, from a single chain to a full box.

Do you buy scrap gold?

Yes. Broken, worn and mismatched pieces are all bought by purity and weight.

Do you buy gold coins and bars?

Yes, including bullion coins and bars. Collectible coins are checked for numismatic value before they are treated as metal.

How is gold calculated?

By purity in karats and weight, measured against the current market. We test and weigh everything in front of you.

Is the spot price the same as what I am paid?

No. Spot is the reference for raw metal. Any buyer pays a figure derived from it, and we explain how we get from spot to your offer.

Can I sell mixed lots of gold?

Yes, and it is better to bring everything at once. Pieces worth more than melt get pulled out before the rest is weighed.

Online

Online Appraisal

What should I send for an online appraisal?

Clear photos from a few angles, plus anything you know: brand, model or reference, karat, certificates, box and papers.

Is the online appraisal free?

Yes, free and with no obligation. You get a number and decide what to do with it.

How accurate is it?

It is a realistic range, not a final figure. Testing, weighing and verification in person are what turn it into a firm offer.

Which items suit an online start best?

Rolex and luxury watches, loose diamonds and diamond rings, designer jewelry, and larger mixed collections where you want a sense of the total first.

In person

Appointments

Why book a private appointment?

You get a private room, dedicated time and the full evaluation, which matters most with high value pieces and collections.

What should I bring?

The items, any certificates, boxes, papers or receipts, and a valid government issued ID. California law requires the ID for every purchase.

How long does an appointment take?

A single piece is usually quick. Collections take longer because every item is sorted and valued on its own.

Can I bring several categories at once?

Yes, and you should. Watches, diamonds, jewelry and gold each get their own evaluation, so nothing gets averaged down.

Where we are

Location and Service Area

Do you have more than one location?

We work from one store, 8308 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills, which is where every evaluation takes place.

Do you serve Los Angeles clients?

Yes. We are a short drive from most of the city and clients come to us from across Los Angeles.

What about West Hollywood, Santa Monica and Glendale?

All are regular for us. Start online if you want a number before making the trip.

What are your hours?

Daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Call or text +1-310-962-9441 if you want to confirm a time.

Good to know

Privacy, Safety and What to Expect

Is the process private?

Yes. Appointments happen in a private room and nothing about your visit leaves the store.

Will the offer be explained?

Always. You see what was tested, measured or graded and what moved the number up or down.

Am I required to sell after the appraisal?

No. There is no obligation and no pressure. Take the valuation home and think about it.

Can I start online and decide later?

Yes. The estimate has no strings attached, and you can book an appointment whenever you are ready.
